1939 Incredible photograph of two of the most famous sluggers in the history of the Detroit Tigers organization. On this day Sam Crawford, the legendary deadball slugger paid a visit to the Tigers dugout and talked hitting (in uniform) with young Hank Greenberg! Taken by a local photographer from Detroit (Kilpatrick) and this is the only example of this photograph we have ever seen. One of the coolest images of Greenberg we have ever offered!
