1938 High quality double weight portrait photograph of Hall of Famer Dizzy Dean from the Chicago Cubs in full uniform. Stamped on the back by the Sporting News, this is one of his better images ever taken and one of only 4-5 known copies from our research and experience. Photo has been trimmed a bit from a slightly larger size but the figure of Dean is clear and bold, centered perfectly and quite simply one of his greatest images ever taken.
