1919 File dated photograph of Chic Gandil from the Chicago Black Sox and issued at the exact time he was throwing games in the World Series for gamblers. Despite a couple creases (tape reinforcing them on the back as well) and pinholes from editorial use, the photo is clear and bold. One of the few images of Gandil that actually dates to the famous 1919 World Series we have ever handled.
