1912 Paul Thompson photograph of Chester "Pinch" Thomas of the Boston Red Sox and taken about his rookie season. He would be part of two Championships for the Red Sox and then another with the 1920 Indians. A popular player from the end of the deadball era, images of Thomas are rare with this being the finest we have seen from early in his career. Stamped on the back by Thompson and in great shape.
