Large 1910 silver gelatin portrait photograph of Hall of Famer Connie Mack from the Philadelphia Athletics. One of the most underrated figures in baseball history, this is the only image of Mack from the lens of Charles Conlon that we have ever handled. The photo has Conlon's handwritten notes on the back and despite some wear and chipping, the quality of the image is perfect. Taken from relatively early in Conlon's career as a baseball photographer, this captures him at his absolute best at his craft and capturing one of the most important subjects in the history of the game!
