Lot Description  

1941 Photograph of author Margaret Mitchell, author of the epic novel "Gone with the Wind" pictured in Atlanta and wearing a military uniform as she was taking part in a ceremony just a few weeks after Pearl Harbor. Mitchell would die young and ANY images of her are tough and highly sought after. The offered photo is likely unique and being offered here for the first time ever.
