The Beatles were the greatest entertainment sensation in music history, but their hysteria was not limited to the Ed Sullivan Show, the brought the house down everywhere they went. On August 21, 1964 they played the new Seattle Center Coliseum just two years after the World's Fair and it was a typical scene of "Beatlemania". The offered rare photograph from a local photographer from the Seattle Times named shows the band's car being mobbed by fans! Despite being a slightly later restrike dated 1984, this is still a nearly forty year old example that is off the original negative and in great shape! Images of the Beatles from their early concerts are rare and this might be the only example of this photo that exists!
