In 1961 a local wedding photographer from London named Albert Marrion was asked by the manager of a new band called "The Beatles" to come snap some promotional images of the group. He complied and what resulted from the session are some of the greatest and most sought after photographs in the history of rock 'n roll. The offered controversial photograph was produced in 2001 by a art dealer named Gary Schaeffer who claimed to own the rights to the images and released them in a limited set. This example is stamped on the back by Schaeffer, but he was sued over the images and was forced to stop releasing them, making images from this sitting incredibly rare. Condition and quality are both outstanding!
