Extremely rare 1920's photograph of Jeanne LaMarr who was one of the first female fighters of all time, taking the sport seriously and attaining a measure of fame during her time. She also became quite an intriguing figure for tabloids as she claimed to be of royal European descent and then was accused of murder in a sensational trial! This is the only image of the boxing pioneer we have ever seen and it presents well, fresh out of a newspaper archive and offered here for the first time ever.
