1921 Stamped photograph of famous early black boxing pioneer Bob Armstrong who dominated the sport at the turn f the century. While he was never given his due respect during his prime, he was relegated to training white fighters most of his life as a sparring partner. Here he works out with the Heavyweight Champion of the World, Jack Dempsey and trains him for his next title defense. This is the only image of Armstrong we have ever seen and it is being offered here for the first time ever!
