One of the greatest sluggers of the era, Tony Lazzeri both benefitted and suffered from being in the Yankees lineup with Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig. He certainly got pitches to hit and often came to bat with guys on base, but as a result, he put up HUGE numbers but was never considered the best player on his own team! The offered image is from the American League Service Bureau and stamped on the back, issued between 1929-1932.
