1924 Detailed silver gelatin photograph of star third baseman from the Cleveland Indians Larry Gardner as he strikes a stoic pose at the ballpark. A four time world series champion (he never lost a series) he was one of the biggest clutch players of his era. A tremendous image with crystal clarity that pictures this deadball era player with some cool artistic painting from publication. Taken by one of the greatest photographers of all time, Louis Van Oeyen, and stamped on the back, the photo presents well with a few light creases from news-room handling.
