1921 Head to toe pitching action photograph of Shufflin Phil Douglas from the New York Giants. One of the most talented pitchers of his era, he was also the biggest drunk in baseball that that was his undoing. John McGraw used to hire a personal assistant to follow Douglas around before big games and prevent him from drinking! The image is great and the quality is fantastic with note to some light pinholes from publication in a newspaper.
