Rare 1907 photograph of the Polo Grounds in New York and showing a sweeping view of the stadium from behind home plate, the best seat in the house. The teams are warming up and the game is about to start with a train parked in the outfield as John McGraw bangs some grounders out to his team. Photo has extensive notes on the back and a signature from the original photographer which is extremely rare. Likely issued in the 1930's, this is a fantastic "behind the scenes" look at a game from 114 years ago!
