1911 Action photograph of famous deadball era slugger Mike Donlin who would be in the baseball Hall of Fame had he cared more about the game and less about vaudeville and beautiful women! Taken at the ballpark and wearing his team warm-up, this is the work of underrated photographer J.R. Schmidt and stamped on the back. Images of Donlin as a player are very tough and this is one of his finest we have ever handled. Photo has a few small rips and a couple pinholes but it presents well. Offered here for the first time ever fresh out of a newspaper archive.
