Lot Description  

1923 Large and sweeping action photo from the World Series between the Yankees and Giants, showing Babe Ruth sliding violently into third base. An important image from the first ever Yankees championship season, this is a crystal clear vintage piece with a full paper caption on the back. Images of Ruth from the 1923 World Series are rare and this is one of the best we have seen. Issued by the International News and the photo comes with a full letter from PSA identifying it as a Type 1.
