Lot Description  

1919 Aerial photograph of Washington DC as a parade for General Jack Pershing is underway. Pershing is one of the most underrated heroes in our history as he was the savior of WWI, the most famous man in America, then widely forgotten when new stars emerged during WWII. Issued by Underwood and Underwood and stamped on the back, this is a beautiful early piece of aerial photography.
