Lot Description  

Large 1917 photograph of President of the United States Woodrow Wilson being driven through Washington DC in a carriage by two black drivers and heading to his inauguration. What makes this photograph a bit of an unfortunate piece of history is that Wilson was one of the more racist Presidents and yet here he is being driven in luxury by two black men. This is a high grade specimen and stamped on the back by Harris and Ewing.
