1966 Incredible and tragic photograph of Edward White, Roger Chaffee and Gus Grissom as they pose for a group shot outside a training capsule, possibly the one that would end up taking their lives. Each is smiling as it seemed they had the whole world, and the Moon in their future. The three men would die in a terrible fire during training the next year in one of the worst disasters in space history. A rare image that is a perfect condition specimen, offered here for the first time since it was tucked away in a newspaper archive fifty years ago!
