In 1989 Michael Eisner from Disney launched his own record label, Hollywood Records. His major attraction was former Queen front man Freddie Mercury. Despite failing health, the company promoted the singer with this studio image by photographer Neal Preston. While it was likely released shortly before his death, the image comes at a time when Mercury was unable to perform, making this perhaps the final image taken of the singer on stage as he would die in late 1991. Condition and quality are both outstanding.
