1954 Studio photograph of the hottest actor of his era and quite possibly the most famous leading man of all time, James Dean. Taken from early in his career, before he was famous, this is a studio session in a knit sweater that has gone down in history as perhaps his greatest ever taken. Completely original and with crystal clarity, this has a spot of paper loss on his sweater that could be restored or matted out. This is the only example of this important photograph we have ever sold.
