Breathtaking 1951 studio photograph of actress and model Marilyn Monroe from before she was a star. Wearing a spaghetti strap dress and with a fur coat as an accessory, this is a stunning image with crystal clarity. Despite the creasing at the top and bottom extremes, the specimen presents very well. Definitely a 1950's image, likely shot when she was a bigger star near the end of the decade but certainly produced during Marilyn's lifetime. This is the only example of this famous early image we have ever handled.
