1922 Incredible studio photograph of Ray Schalk of the Chicago White in uniform including his mask and signaling to the pitcher. This is perhaps his greatest photo ever taken and it is the only example of a catcher in full gear inside a studio since the 19th century. Issued by Underwood and Underwood and stamped on the back with a full paper caption. Photo has a couple light creases and a small rip on the far right side but it presents very well. An absolutely incredible work of photography!
