Large 1931 posed photograph of the six members of the New York Yankees outfield as the squad reported for spring training for the first time in March. Led by the most famous man in the world, Babe Ruth, the assemblage also includes Earle Combs in uniform. The figure of Ruth is one of the best we have seen showing the baseball icon holding his bat and with his cap on (he normally only wore a white undershirt during spring training), he is looking fit and determined for another monster season. Issued by the International News and with a long paper caption on the back, this is a fantastic image we have never offered before.
