1926 Large silver gelatin photograph of the great Babe Ruth as he takes time out of his rock star schedule to sign baseballs and bats for the troops. Ruth is in the process of signing while each bat has a tag on it where it will be sent as an award for a lucky soldier! A rare image that presents beautifully, this is dated on the front from July 1926 and it remains here in fine condition with note to one corner chip. This is one of only a handful of original images from this event we have seen, and none in this larger size. Comes from the estate of Christy Walsh and it presents beautifully with crystal clarity.
