Large and bold c. 1932 portrait photograph of famous aviatrix Amelia Earhart. A silver gelatin image that has deep and clear tones, this is stamped on the back by famous photographer Fabian Bachrach and is the only vintage example of the image we have ever handled. Despite a corner chip, a few small rips at the borders and some handling wear from publication (including a few spots of paper loss) the image presents well and would look great framed with the edges matted out. One of the most impressive original Earhart images we have ever handled.
