1909 Silver gelatin photograph of a c. 1910 Wright Flyer, this model with propellers on the front and an engine unlike the first in 1903 which was just a glider. Issued in the 1920's as a reminder of the 25th anniversary of the first flight at Kittyhawk, the newspaper thought this was a 1903 image but in reality is a bit later c. 1910 aircraft making this example only about 18 years from the original (vintage 3).
