My how things have changed in the world of sports. One hundred years ago when Frank "Home Run" Baker was traded to the New York Yankees, a single photographer went to what appears to be his home and had Baker pose for some batting images in his front yard wearing his new uniform. Sitting on the ground is his glove (ready for a fielding shot up against his fence) and this image capturing the slugger posing in his pristine flannel jersey. Issued around the 1940's by the New York Daily News, this is likely the only example of this photograph in the world and it presents well.
