Lot Description  

1919 Detailed and beautiful portrait photograph of star third baseman of the Chicago White Sox, Buck Weaver. Taken during the famous year of the great Black Sox Scandal, this is one of his finest images from that fateful season we have ever handled. Issued by the International Film Service and in nice shape. Photo comes pre-certified as a "Type 1" from PSA and a full letter of authenticity will accompany the photo.
