Lot Description  

Official U.S. Air Force photograph of the ruins of Hiroshima near ground zero after being demolished by the first atomic bomb. The image captures the desolate and demolished military barracks that were a hub of activity just days earlier. A fantastic image that appears to be original to 1945, but has secondary stamps from 1955 on the back as well. A dramatic and touching piece of WWII history!
