In 1981 Ozzy Osbourne had taken the rock world by storm. At one of his concerts he had allegedly bit the head off a bat and it promoted stories of him that only helped fuel his record sales. In a record studio in 1981 in Los Angeles, Ozzy was given a dove to show his more peaceful side for photographers. He was supposed to smile, pose and walk away, but he took the live animal and bit its head clean off. The four part composite photograph offered here is the only vintage example from this moment we have seen, capturing the event from start to finish with the final photo being the most famous as Ozzy has blood on his lip and the head of the dove still in his mouth. An incredible piece of rock history offered here for the first time ever!
