On September 11, 1966 the Rolling Stones made their first appearance on the famed television program "The Ed Sullivan Show." Like the Beatles a few years earlier, it launched them into a new realm of stardom and popularity. Images from the event however are VERY rare. The offered photograph takes that a step further however into the realm of the unique. There are two famous studio photographs from the event, but each had their flaws as one obscures the drummer and the other has a guitarist looking away. In order to better capture the moment, a VERY skilled artist at a newspaper took the two images and spliced them to get the best of both and the offered piece is the fantastic result! Mounted to thicker paper, this one captures all the members at their absolute best and it is being offered here for the first time ever fresh out of a newspaper archive!
