1954 Photograph of Marilyn Monroe as she entertains the troops in Korea and sends the boys into a frenzy wearing a skin tight dress. Every soldier seems to be enjoying himself and many have their cameras out to memorialize the event. Issued by the Associated Press and with a full paper caption from 1962, this is just outside the five year window for a "vintage 1" at eight years later, issued when Monroe was found dead. A clear and bold original off the photographers negative and a great deal as it is a nearly sixty year old example that exhibits crystal clarity.
