Original 1929 photograph illustrates how much the World has changed in the last 90 years, and not just in the game of baseball. Photo shows a Brooklyn Dodgers rookie playing around with the two Black Mascots of the team while in Clearwater, Florida. They appear to be happy just to be around the game and have bats piled up on them sitting on the field. The reverse caption has noted that the boys were supplying the bats to the players and were named "Snowball" and "Blackball". While this image has obvious racial insensitivity, it is a stunning photograph and speaks to a different era of the game we love. Photo has a few light corner creases but is otherwise in great shape with a bold image.
