1923 Silver gelatin photograph of the Detroit Tigers in uniform and posing at the ballpark. Led by Hall of Famer Ty Cobb, this would be the first year that his protégé would overtake him as Harry Heilman would bat .403 to take the batting crown. A rare team to find images of, this one has perfect clarity and captures (33) players and coaches in uniform. Cobb is pictured on the tp row fifth from the left. An underrated time in his career where he was still one of the msot dominant in the game!
