Lot Description  

1959 Unique photograph of Cuban revolutionary Fidel Castro as he delivers an impromptu speech to reporters and supporters while lighting a cigar in New York City. Image carries a stamp from the New York Daily News and is in great shape. The silver gelatin image displays beautifully with crystal clarity and in great shape. A rare example of Castro photography in America and a unique specimen being offered here for the first time ever!
