1977 Photograph from behind the scenes showing young director George Lucas as he gives some instructions to Alec Guinness during the filming of Star Wars. A rare image that is one of the few examples we have seen dating to 1977, it shows wear and handling damage on the upper border from being in a newspaper archive but it presents well. File stamped on the back from the summer the film came out in 1977!
