Lot Description  

1931 Dramatic photograph of a huge ticker tape parade through the streets of St. Louis to honor the returning National League champion Cardinals. Players ride in open cars while thousands line the streets and thousands more hang out the windows above to show their adoration for the red birds. A really exciting image of the Cardinals from the International News and to think, they hadn't even won the World Series for all this fanfare!
