1928 Large studio portrait photograph of the greatest pitcher in baseball, Walter Johnson in all his glory. Issued when he was signed as a manager, this is the finest image of Johnson from the era and most formal since he sat in Carl Horner's studio twenty years earlier! Condition and quality are great and this is from Underwood and Underwood with stamps, marks and paper captions all present! One of his best ever taken, fresh out of the Underwood archives and this is one of only two examples we know of in the hobby!
