1927 Detailed portrait photograph of Ohio State All American football star Marty Karow from one of his handful of games as a back-up infielder for the Boston Red Sox. He then became an early baseball head coach at both Texas A&M and then back to Ohio State where he coached the Buckeyes from 1951-1975! The offered photograph is a rarity as it is both the only image of Karow we have handled, but it is from his short tenure in the major leagues by the greatest photographer of all time!
