Lot Description  

1924 Posed action photo of Hall of Famer Rabbit Maranville of the Pittsburgh Pirates in full uniform as it was announced the next summer that he would take managerial control of the Chicago Cubs. Maranville images are tough to find and this is one of the best we have ever seen, issued by the International News and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well. Condition and quality make this a perfect 10/10!
