1927 Poster sized huge photograph of Babe Ruth from the New York Yankees signing game bats and baseballs to be given as prizes for military soldiers. A special piece of photography showing Ruth in uniform and posing with two priceless pieces of memorabilia like few we have ever seen before. This is an actual oversized photograph from the Elliott Service that was hung at news-stands to promote the newspaper for the day and then intended to be thrown away making survivors extremely rare. Comes with a huge paper caption and the image itself is in pretty nice shape with a small amount of border damage on the upper left and mild wear from news-from use. This is one of the finest oversized Elliott Service photographs we have handled!
