1934 Marked the last go around for Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig together in the lineup for the New York Yankees. The offered image captures both men with their manager on the first day of Spring Training in St. Petersburg. A fantastic image of Ruth and Gehrig in pinstripes and one of the last taken of the two men together until 1939 when Gehrig would be forced to retire due to illness. Issued by Acme and stamped on the back, the photo presents beautifully and with a paper caption on the back as well and grades a perfect 10/10.
