1914 Portrait photograph of one of the top hitting stars of the 1910's, Bobby Veach of the Detroit Tigers. He led the league in all sorts of offensive categories and managed a career .310 average and over 2000 hits. Overshadowed by Ty Cobb his entire career, images of Veach are tough to find with this one being a rarity from Charles Conlon! The reverse carries an earlier Conlon stamp as well as his handwritten notes. Aside from a chip on the far right border, the image presents pretty well with the damage coming nowhere near the figure of Veach. All things considered, one of his better images we have handled.
