Lot Description  

Original c. 1929 photograph of the young Fascist dictator of Italy, Benito Mussolini as he gives the classic salute to his troops in Rome. Issued by Underwood and Underwood and stamped on the back with a full paper caption, this notes that his first order of business was to denounce the Pope! The photo is in nice shape with some light ink staining from the production process.
