Large 1885 cabinet photograph of General Ulysses S. Grant and his large family posed together at Mt. McGregor in New York. Dated on the front from two days after grant arrived at the cottage (June 19) he would die a few weeks later making this quite possibly his last formal photograph ever! Taken by photographer W.H. Baker and in pretty nice shape overall with note to some trimming of the mount and normal age handling wear. This is the only vintage example of this large photograph we have ever seen.
