Perhaps the most famous photograph of Pancho Villa ever taken is this 1914 image by photographer John Davidson Wheelan as the outlaw and revolutionary leads his troops to the front for another confrontation. Photo is a large example from about 1939 which is relating the greatest images of the era! Large and bold, this is one of the few pre-war examples of this photo we have ever seen.
