The 1956 film "Baby Doll" was a creepy and dark sexually charged film about a child-like young bride who wore tiny clothes and slept in a crib. Who better to pitch one of the most controversial films of the era than the woman who was by far the biggest sex symbol in Hollywood, Marilyn Monroe. Here she appears on the red carpet for the premier and is holding a large oversized ticket to the film. Wearing a tight sweater and a sash that reads, "Baby Doll Usherette". Stamped on the back, this is one of the most controversial Marilyn images considering the content we have handled and it is the only example we have ever seen in vintage form!
