1940 Completely vintage studio photograph from the ground breaking and important film "The Great Dictator" starring Charlie Chaplin. One of the first uses of comedy to focus on a political stance, Chaplin satired Adolf Hitler in a way that brought attention to his murderous exploits to an audience that otherwise would have had little idea who he was. As such this is one of the most important films of all time with this example being one of the only originals we have handled. Photo presents well with creasing and wear from news-room use.
