The 1922 Lon Chaney film "A Blind Bargain" is one of the most underrated pieces of Hollywood history as it was essentially the second full length horror film and the first to use intense make-up to create what can be considered today as a "monster". It was also the first to star Lon Chaney who would revolutionize the industry. The offered studio photograph from the film is the ONLY known example and is likely one of the earliest pieces of horror film memorabilia on the planet! Despite some handling wear and a corner chip, the image presents well and shows off both Chaney and the monster beautifully. The importance of this image as a piece of film history can not be overstated!
